Pastoral is a revolutionary company dedicated to positively transforming the negative greenhouse gas emissions that conventional livestock farming has on our planet. Pastoral equips farmers with the tools and technology to master regenerative farming methodologies while verifying that their dairy and meat products are sustainably produced, providing traceable, transparent data.

Born out of the United Nations Incubator for Innovation in Sustainable Agriculture, Pastoral is the only company to have graduated with endorsement and catalytic grant funding.

Working directly with farmers is one of the fastest, most efficient, and practical ways to reduce carbon emissions from livestock farming. Pastoral promotes a sustainable, regenerative farming method known as "rotational grazing," which involves regularly moving livestock between pastured areas, allowing previously grazed sections to regenerate and thrive.

By avoiding overgrazing in any one place and enhancing soil health, rotational grazing reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from livestock farms and ranches by an astounding 30%. Today, livestock farmers produce a gigantic 2.13 gigatons of CO2-equivalent, equal to 14% of the world's total CO2 emissions.

Through our thriving farming initiatives in Europe and Central Asia, we have begun to realize the global impact potential for farmers worldwide. In 2023, we expanded into North America's vast agricultural landscape, starting in Montana, USA. The impact potential is tremendous, given the region's size and diverse livestock operations.
